Management experience

Since 1975 has held positions in IT companies both on management and expert level. At first, as System Engineer in Post and Telegraph Administration. Starting 1980, at Hewlett-Packard as Sales Director and after that, for 9 years, working in Apple Computer and its importer Oy Mercantile Computers Ab, as CEO of Finland and Estonia as well as Sales Director Scandinavia. Since 1994 the CEO and Area Director North-Europe in Rank Xerox Ltd. Nowadays, as Senior Advisor at Capman.

Board experience

Has acted in boards of over 40 corporations and organizations. Combined board experience totals 80 years. Has given many lectures on board work and has participated in written discussion on the topic. Specializing in board's strategic input in company's development as well as increasing company's value by board work.

Activities

Electrical Engineer 1974, Master of Science (Economics) 1977 and M.S in Engineering 1979. In addition, has completed extensive courses in business management of LIFIM and Insead. For two decades has regularly given lectures about special issues of business management, both in Finland and abroad.

Among hobbies there are future research, basketball, golf and yachting.
