PROFESSIONAL HISTORY AND BOARD EXPERINCE
Riku Asikainen began his entrepreneurial career already during high school and has since worked as an owner-entrepreneur. His first venture was an online bookstore, which he sold to Sanoma in the early 2000s.
For the past 15 years, Asikainen has worked as a business angel, investing in over 50 unlisted companies.
Since 2018, he has been leading a growth fund established in collaboration with Evli, which makes equity investments in Europe’s most promising growth companies. Through the fund, Asikainen holds a total of seven Chairmanships or Memberships in the boards of target companies.
