Cancellation policy

Boardman and its forums organize various discussion events and activities, for which the following terms and conditions apply to registrations and cancellations.

Registration

An event registration system is used to send invitations to our events. By filling out the form provided in the invitation, you can either register to attend the event or inform us of any potential obstacles to your participation. By informing us of an obstacle, you can avoid receiving duplicate invitation messages.

Free events

  • Even for free events, we require participants to inform us in advance if they are unable to attend the event.
  • Cancellations must be made three days prior to the event.
  • For physical events, a cancellation fee of 35 EUR will be charged for participants who fail to notify us of their absence in advance.

Paid events

  • Registrations for events are binding.
  • In case of an obstacle, attendance can be transferred to another representative of the company.
  • Cancellations are free of charge up to two weeks prior to the event.
  • Cancellations made 13-7 days before the event will result in a 50% participation fee charge.
  • Cancellations made 1-6 days before the event will result in a full participation fee charge.
  • Failure to attend without notification will result in 100% participation fee charge.

Training

  • Cancellations of attendance in training made 14-7 days before the training will result in a 50% participation fee charge.
  • Cancellations of attendance in training made 6-2 days before the training will result in a 75% participation fee charge, as well as a 100% charge for the accommodation and catering package.
  • Cancellations of attendance in training made 1-0 days before the training will result in a 100% participation fee charge, as well as a 100% charge for the accommodation and catering package.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations must be made in writing to info@boardman.fi or by responding to the confirmation message through our event registration system.

CANCELLATIONS DUE TO ILLNESS

If illness prevents your participation in an event, the participation fee will not be charged on condition that a medical certificate is provided within one week (7 days).

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY AT EVENTS

We may take photographs and videos at our events. Unless the participant indicates otherwise, by attending the event, they grant permission for photography and videography, as well as for the use of images for marketing purposes after the event.

If you do not want photographs or video material of you to be published, please notify us in writing at info@boardman.fi or through the event registration system used when registering for the event.
