Boardman appoints two new partners

The board of Boardman has approved Kirsti Laasio and Anna Lundén as new partners. Boardman is a think tank and competence network that plays a key role in developing and raising the level of expertise in ownership, board work and management (the OBM chain, in Finnish OHJ), as well as networking among decision-makers. Both new partners have already been actively involved in Boardman’s operations.

Kirsti Laasio is an experienced expert in customer-centric leadership and international growth. She currently serves as CEO of the growth company Omnigym Group. She has extensive experience in board work and advisory boards, where she has systematically introduced a more customer-focused and growth-oriented approach to the work of management, owners, and boards. Laasio has also acted as an advisor to several growth companies expanding internationally and is an investor in multiple start-ups aiming for global growth. In addition, she is Chair of the Board of Boardman’s network for growth entrepreneurs (Grow).

Anna Lundén has a broad understanding of B2B and B2C business development, market orientation, and growth strategies in a multinational environment, as well as the impact of management decisions on long-term value creation. She has gained this expertise through more than 20 years in various expert and leadership roles in international listed companies and Finnish family businesses. Currently, Lundén works as a doctoral researcher at Turku School of Economics and as a researcher in a Strategic Research Council project funded by the Academy of Finland. She also serves on the boards of three Finnish companies and is a member of the Board of Boardman’s network for researchers (LJT).

Kirsti and Anna have both been actively involved in our network, particularly in our communities for growth entrepreneurs and researchers. It is great to have their diverse expertise even more strongly contributing to Boardman’s development work as partners,” says Mirel Leino-Haltia, Chair of the Board of Boardman.

The Boardman competence network is managed by Boardman Oy, which is owned by 60 partners. The partners bring diverse, complementary expertise in ownership and extensive experience in board governance and collaboration between owners, boards, and management.

Partners actively participate in developing Boardman’s expertise, contributing to development forums and supporting the implementation of events, publications, services, and training programmes. The Board of Boardman Oy approves new partners who have been actively involved in the network through various member and development forums and who share our values: learn, share and renew.
