Boardman starts a new Peer Sparring Programme

Boardman develops the expertise and collaboration of owners, boards, and management. We offer our members diverse opportunities to strengthen their competences. Our network is full of knowledge, willingness to help others succeed, and enthusiasm to develop one’s own thinking and actions. That’s why we are now opening applications for Boardman’s new Peer Sparring Programme.
The programme offers our members a unique opportunity to learn from peers, share experiences, and grow together. Pairs will be formed among the applicants.
This year’s themes include ownership competence, effective board work, leadership development, growth management, and internationalisation.
Who can apply?
The programme is free of charge and intended for all Boardman members who want to further develop as owners, board professionals, or leaders and are ready to share their own experiences. The sparring in this programme is based on confidential and goal-oriented interaction between the paired participants.
Pairing process
The idea of peer sparring is to bring together two people with similar development goals. The programme will include a maximum of 40 pairs. Boardman will match pairs in March based on the applications.

Programme Schedule
- Application period: January 12 – February 27, 2026
- Boardman will match pairs during March and share contact information via email
- Kick-off event: April 21, 2026, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM in Helsinki
- Between these events, matched pairs will meet independently according to their own schedules.
- Closing event: December 1, 2026, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM in Helsinki
