Board work under uncertainty and external shocks

The event serves as the closing session of Boardman’s 2025 Board Buddy program. This peer mentoring initiative has brought together international and Finnish board members to exchange ideas on board work and leadership.

Program

The program will open with remarks from Tuomo Haukkovaara, Partner at Boardman. He will be followed by Aku Korhonen, Partner at PwC, who will discuss how U.S. trade policies have affected Finnish companies. The topic will be explored further in small groups.

After the small group discussions, Caroline Bondier, Founder of Arcticana, will lead a conversation with experienced board members Susan Repo and Kaj Hagros. They will share their thoughts on how boards deal with uncertainty and external shocks. The evening will conclude with networking.

When and where?

Participants of the Board Buddy program are invited to arrive at 16:00 for networking and experience sharing. Other guests arrive at 16:45, and the official program begins at 17:00.

The event is organized at Columbia Road’s office, Eteläesplanadi 8 A, Helsinki.

This is an invitation-only event for Board Buddy pairs, Boardman’s international members, Boardman partners and selected international executives.
