PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND BOARD EXPERIENCE
Jan Feller, 49, is a Doctor of Science (Technology) and a CEO of German-Finnish Chamber of Commerce. German-Finnish Chamber of Commerce is the biggest bilateral Chamber of Commerce in Finland, and around 70 % of Finland’s exports to Germany goes through its 650 member companies.
Feller is a Board Member in the Foundation for the Finnish Institute in Germany, Deinternational Oy and Deutsche Schule Helsinki. He is a Member of Commission at Aue-foundation and influences as an external board member in two Finnish family businesses.
He also serves in International Business Club Advisory Board at Confederation of Finnish Industries. Feller is a dual citizen of Finland and Germany.
Feller has worked for ten years in Nokia and Microsoft, where he has done international sales and marketing. He has been in charge e.g. for the smartphone business of the company’s largest operator customer globally and for going through an organizational change of 1 000 people. Feller has been an advisor in post-acquisition integration projects of both listed companies and SMEs. He has also founded three companies in the field of IT and marketing in both Finland and Germany.
