Lars Husberg

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY AND BOARD EXPERINCE

Lars Husberg is an experienced strategist and change leader. At Boardman, he focuses particularly on developing ownership and board work in family and privately owned companies according to the OBM model.

Currently, Husberg serves as the Chairman of the boards of Efima, Hedengren and Lappset. Previously, he has been on the boards of Kontiotuote and Fingertip.

Husberg graduated from Hanken (M.Sc. in Economics) in 1984, and in recent years, he has received training for board positions through Boardman’s coaching programs, as well as through international networks and training sessions with Digoshen and Boards Impact Forum. He has been active in boards since 2015.

Throughout his career, Husberg has developed strategies and led changes as a consultant for others and as a CEO for himself. He has served as a CEO of Sähköpörssi and Örum Oy Ab, as well as Vice CEO of Lappset. He has worked for 20 years in international consultancy and technology companies (IBM, PwC, Accenture and Capgemini). Husberg was selected as one of Finland’s top 100 IT influencers in 2005, 2006, and 2007, and in 2023, he was a nominee for Digital Leader of the Year in Finland, among three other candidates.

In his work, Husberg combines his experience in strategy, sales, digitalization and leadership to create tailored approaches for renewing companies in various situations.
