Professional history and Board experience
M.Sc. (Tech. 1988) and Lic.Sc. (Tech. 1993) Laura Raitio has extensive experience in international business, with roles in sales, marketing, production, product development, and general management. Raitio served as the CEO of Diacor Health Services Oy from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, she spent 24 years at Ahlstrom Oyj in various leadership positions, most recently as the head of the Building and Energy business area and a member of the executive management team.
In recent years, Raitio has focused on board duties and currently serves as the chair of the board at Raute Oyj, Alko Oy, the Helsinki Deaconess Institute Foundation, and Unikie Oy, as well as a board member at Solidium Oy and the Brita Maria Renlund Memorial Foundation. As a partner at Boardman, Raitio has conducted numerous evaluations for listed companies, state-owned enterprises, cooperatives, and various organizations.
