About Board Buddy program

Boardman is launching a new Board Buddy program in Spring 2024. We pair up 10 international Boardman members and 10 Finnish board members to discuss on board work, leadership, and current topics.

• Boardman determines the program’s focus and assigns pairs based on the survey responses.
• The program starts in March and ends in October. Meanwhile pairs meet each other at their own schedules.
• The aim of the program is to network and share thoughts on Finnish board work and leadership.
• The program might provide an introduction for future board opportunities, although this is not a guarantee.
• We cannot guarantee a spot for all applicants, as the program accepts only a limited number of participants. However, if the pilot is successful, the program is intended to continue and be further developed in the future.

The application period for 2024 Board Buddy Program has ended 15.2.2024.

Apply for Boardman’s membership!

If you are not yet a member of ours, you will need to apply for the membership as well. You can become our member in two different ways.

1. You have completed Boardman’s CG and Board Work in Finland training. Fill in the application and you will be automatically accepted as a member.

OR

2. Apply for membership without having attended our training. In this case, the following terms apply:

• You are from outside Finland but work as a business executive or board member in Finland or Finnish companies.
• You have two positive references from Boardman’s network.
• Acceptance for the membership will be confirmed by Boardman’s International Development Group.
