Driving Growth Through International Expertise

Driving Growth Through International Expertise is a pilot event that brings together Boardman’s international members interested in advisory and board roles with growth entrepreneurs from Boardman Grow who are eager to connect with and bring international expertise into their companies.

When and where?

The event is organized on February 11, 2025, from 2 to 5 PM at PwC (Itämerentori 2, 00180 Helsinki).

What can you expect from the event?

👉🏻 Inspiring examples on how companies have benefited from international expertise, especially at the advisory and board levels.

👉🏻 Networking opportunities with growth companies and business leaders.

Participating in the event does not require growth companies to hire a new board member or advisor.

Confirmed speakers

The confirmed speakers for the event are Henri Hakamo, TESI’s Chief Strategy and Reseach offcer, who will present the ”Composition of Boards of Directors in Finnish company” research from 2024 from the perspective of international board members.

In addition, the event will include two pair interviews. The first pair interview will feature Samppa Vilkuna, CEO and Co-Founder of Superson, and Susan Duinhoven, Superson’s advisor and a member of the Kone board.

The second pair interview will be with Philip Aminoff, partner at Boardman, and Bob Esmeijer, Chairman of the Board at Helvar Components.
